chickpea rice

  Here is a recipe for oven-baked rice and chicken: Ingredients: 2 cups uncooked basmati rice hot water 2½ cups (adjust according to your rice type) onion 1 cup garlic 2 tbsp ginger 1 tbsp coriander tomatoes 1 cup carrot ½ cup chickpea 1 can without water Seasoning for marinade: 1 kg skinless chicken thighs Salt and pepper, to taste salt 1½ tsp cumin ½ tsp paprika ½ tsp black pepper ¼ tsp turmeric ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp chilli powder ½ tsp cajun seasoning ½ tsp Seasoning for the rice: bay leaf chilli chicken stock 1 cube  salt ½ tsp paprika ½ tsp cajun seasoning ½ tsp Instructions: marinade your chicken with the spices for 2 hours or better overnight Preheat your oven to 428°F (220°C). In a 22 x 32 cm baking dish, combine the aromatics and vegetables. Place the chicken thighs on top of the vegetable. bake for 30 minutes uncovered. after cooking, remove the meat and add rice to the vegetable add hot water and spices place the chicken back on top o

  we are going to make these sweet buns with vanilla custard in the middle. to make these custard cream buns you will need Sweet Bun Dough: 350g bread flour 40g sugar 3 tbsp instant yeast 6g 2 tsp salt ¾ tsp 4g 230g   warm milk Custard Filling: custard powder ½ cup 50g caster sugar ½ cup 80g milk 400ml To make the sweet bun dough, combine 350g of bread flour, 40g of sugar, ¾ a tsp of salt, and 6g of instant yeast. Mix well, add 230g of lukewarm milk and Knead until a dough forms. then Add the butter and continue to knead until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.   This should take about 15 minutes by hand or 10 minutes with a stand mixer   the dough should be soft and slightly sticky but manageable. the best way to tell if your bread dough is properly kneaded is to stretch a piece of between your fingers. Milk Bread recipe

  this is how you can make lite and airy milk bread.    you will need the following ingredients: for the roux: bread flour 120g (¾ cup) bread flour 30g (¼ cup)  for the dough: bread flour 300g (2cups) sugar 40g ( 3 tbsp) salt ¾ tsp milk 140g (¾ cup) butter 50g (3tbsp)       Method: In a pan, combine 120g of water, and 30g of bread flour. mix well. Cook over medium-low heat, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens and forms a smooth paste. This should take about 2 minutes. Remove from heat cover it and let cool to room temperature. combine 300g of bread flour, 40g of sugar, ¾ a tsp of salt, and 5g of instant yeast. Mix well. add 140g of milk and the flour paste. Knead the dough for 5 mins. Coconut Rice Recipe

  Here is a recipe for Coconut Rice and Chicken in one pot: Ingredients: 1kg boneless, skinless chicken thighs, Salt 1tsp turmeric powder ¼ tsp chilli powder ½ tsp garlic paste 1 tbsp ginger paste 1 tbsp tomato paste 1tbsp pepper ½ tsp diced onion 1 cup 2 cups of uncooked white rice 2 bay leaves,4 cloves,3, cardamom, 1cinnamon stick, lemon peel 11/2   cup canned coconut milk 2 ½ cup water 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro salt in rice 1 ½ tsp Instructions: marinade 1kg of boneless chicken thighs with 1 tsp of salt, ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp of each, ½   tsp of black pepper, ¼ tsp of turmeric and 1 tbsp of tomato paste. give it a good mix and leave it for at least 20 mins.  wash and drain   2 cups of basmati rice and let it soak up the excess water for 15-20 mins. Heat the oil over medium-high heat. sear the chicken pieces on both sides. take 2½ cups of water, into that add 1½ cups of canned coconut milk. microwave it until boiling hot before adding it to the rice. you might need more

  Beghrir is a type of Moroccan semolina pancake that is made with a mixture of semolina flour, water, and yeast. Add the lukewarm water and mix until a smooth batter forms. hello everyone welcome to my blog. so after a  long time today, I am going to make a chocolate cake this cake is going to be so moist so good and  the ganache or chocolate cream is excellent and this is probably the easiest way you can make a chocolate cake. spaghetti in mind blowing red sauce

Recipe below- ingredients: olive oil 3 tbsp onion ½ cup garlic 6 cloves butter 4 tbsp paprika 1 tsp ground beef 500g mushroom 250g celery ¼ cup tomato chopped 400g x1can tomato paste 3 tbsp black pepper ½ tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp mixed spice ½ tsp green chilli to taste salt 1- tsp or to taste water 1 cup+- spaghetti 250g - 400g Method: * fry onion in olive oil until slightly golden * add garlic, and butter then fry a little more * Increase the heat to medium-high, add ground beef and cook stirring for 5 mins or until the meat is browned all over. * add tomatoes, mushrooms, celery, all the seasonings and water * Bring to the boil, reduce to a gentle simmer and cover with a lid. Cook for 1 hr stirring occasionally, until you have a rich, thick sauce. * When the bolognese is nearly done, cook spaghetti following the pack instructions. * drain the spaghetti and stir it into the sauce. garnish with green coriander and grated parmesan. * Enjoy

Bolo Bao

Pineapple buns ( 菠蘿包 , bolo bao in Cantonese) are one of my favourite pastries. you can find   Pineapple buns in Hong Kong style bakeries. The bun is soft and sweet and it’s topped with a golden crunchy, crumbly cookie-like crust. Although named "pineapple buns" the pastry does not contain any pineapple, the name comes from the way that the topping looks when it’s baked. LASAGNA/LAZANYA (quick and easy)

Ingredients: For the meat sauce: 3 tbsp of olive oil a mix of basil, thyme, parsley, rosemary 1 tbsp or dry Italian seasoning 2 tsp 1 large onion 4 cloves of garlic 1 tbsp of chilli flakes black pepper ½ tsp salt to taste (around 1tsp )( remember that cheddar cheese is salty) ground meat 1 kg (beef or mutton) chopped tomatoes 800g water to cook for 30 minutes For bechamel /white sauce: butter 4 tbsp flour 4 tbsp pinch of nutmeg pinch of salt cold milk 3 cups Pan Size: 22 x 32 cm ....... one packet of instant/no-boil lasagna sheet or as needed grated mozzarella cheese grated light cheddar cheese grated parmesan cheese (optional) fresh mozzarella on top (optional) Time and temperature: bake at 200°C preheated oven for 35-40 minutes covered then uncover the lasagna and bake another 10-15 minutes to brown the top a bit.
