Pepperoni Pizza/Pizza Dough/Pizza Sauce

Here is a simple recipe for a classic pepperoni pizza:

Ingredients:

  • 170g of chopped  tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½  teaspoon of dried herbs consisting of oregano, rosemary, and thyme
  • Salt  1/2 tsp

Instructions:

  1. heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced onion, and garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the canned tomatoes (with juice), oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the pan.
  4. Use a wooden spoon to break up the tomatoes into smaller pieces.
  5. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook until it has thickened slightly.
  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  7. let it cool to room temperature before using

Ingredients for the dough

  • 1 ½ teaspoons of instant yeast
  • ½  teaspoon of sugar
  • 150g of warm water (35•c)
  • 280g of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½  teaspoon of salt

toppings:

mozzarella cheese

pepperoni

basil, parsley, butter


Instructions:

  1. In a  mixing bowl, combine the flour yeast, sugar, salt and warm water.
  2.  knead the dough for 5-7 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a wet paper towel, and let it rise in a warm place (35-40°c) for 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
  4. brush oil on a  pizza pan
  5. Place the dough on the pan, and use your hands to stretch and shape it into a 12-inch round or rectangle pizza.
  6. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough
  7. Add shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, basil, parsley and butter on top
  8. Bake the pizza at 200°c for 20-25 minutes on the bottom rack of the oven until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

LASAGNA/LAZANYA (quick and easy)

Ingredients: For the meat sauce: 3 tbsp of olive oil a mix of basil, thyme, parsley, rosemary 1 tbsp or dry Italian seasoning 2 tsp 1 large onion 4 cloves of garlic 1 tbsp of chilli flakes black pepper ½ tsp salt to taste (around 1tsp )( remember that cheddar cheese is salty) ground meat 1 kg (beef or mutton) chopped tomatoes 800g water to cook for 30 minutes For bechamel /white sauce: butter 4 tbsp flour 4 tbsp pinch of nutmeg pinch of salt cold milk 3 cups Pan Size: 22 x 32 cm ....... one packet of instant/no-boil lasagna sheet or as needed grated mozzarella cheese grated light cheddar cheese grated parmesan cheese (optional) fresh mozzarella on top (optional) Time and temperature: bake at 200°C preheated oven for 35-40 minutes covered then uncover the lasagna and bake another 10-15 minutes to brown the top a bit. dinner rolls/milk bread recipe/bun/soft &chewy #cookingadream

These dinner rolls are very very fluffy, soft and chewy. If you follow the recipe you will not be disappointed. This is a recipe for dinner rolls or some may call milk bun or milk bread. It's a basic dinner rolls recipe, many other kinds of bread items can be made out of this bread which I will be showing in my other videos.
