2 Easy Breakfast Recipes--Cooking A Dream

Ingredients: nutella rolls: bread nutella butter method: cut the edges of the bread, spread Nutella on top, roll the bread then fry in a teaspoon of butter until toasted eggroll: 2 eggs carrot shredded celery chopped pepper salt a tiny square pan  method: mix all the ingredients together, pour in the pan little at a time and keep rolling from one corner then add some more to join the edges then roll again until done. press with spatula to give a square shape.                                                                 -----------------------------------

Chicken fried Rice--Cooking A Dream

Ingredients: leftover jasmine rice 2-3 cup chicken cube 1 cup eggs 1-2 cornstarch 1tsp light soy sauce 2 tbsp dark soy sauce 1tsp green onion 1/2 cup onion 1/2 cup carrot 1/3 cup white pepper 1/2 tsp sesame oil a few drops canola oil hot oil Method: cut chicken breast in small cubes then marinade with 1tbsp of soy sauce and cornstarch for 30 mins heat up 2 tbsp of oil in a pan fry an egg. push in the side of the pan or take out  then saute the chicken for a mins add carrot onion and garlic cook for 3-4 mins then add green onion add leftover rice, soy sauce, white pepper, salt and sesame oil fry for a mins then serve with chopped green onion and hot oil                                                       ----------------------------------------

Fluffy Pancake Recipe/Souffle Pancake-Cooking A Dream

for 1-2 person Ingredients : milk 30g 2 large eggs. yolk white separated sugar 40g salt 1/4 tsp all purpose flour 40g cornstarch 20g baking powder 1tsp butter 30g vanilla 2tsp caramel syrup: 1/4 cup sugar 1tsp cornstarch Method: separate egg whites from yolk carefully so that no yolk goes into the white  mix egg yolk, milk, salt and vanilla together sift in flour cornstarch and baking powder and mix beat egg white and sugar using an electric beater until stiff peak forms add 1/4 of foam into the yolk batter and mix to make it little thin add rest of the foam then fold in carefully in a well-seasoned pan pour some batter then cover for 5 mins on very low heat when the top dries up, add some more batter on top flip the pancake, cover for 5 more minutes or until done. for caramel syrup:  take 1/3 cup of sugar in a pan on medium heat cook until the edges browns then add some hot water mix and boil until sugar melts completely dilute 1 tsp of c

Ingredients: spring water tuna (net 185g can -140g drained weight) 1 potato (steamed) 1 egg (white yolk separated) 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch bread crumbs (optional) seasonings: 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp black pepper powder red chilli powder to taste 3/4 tsp garam masala powder(cinnamon, cardamom, cloves) ginger garlic paste 2 tsp finely chopped onion, cilantro, green onion, green chilli Method:  steam and peal a medium size potato (don't boil in water) add all the seasonings, finely chopped herbs, cornstarch and an egg yolk mash well keep the egg white separate squizee out all the water from tuna  add to the potato and mix gently, don't mash too much make small patties deep into the beaten egg white and deep-fry in medium hot oil serve with salad, rice, or make sandwiches                                                        ------------------------------------------

Chinese green onion pancake 蔥油餅/green onion paratha-- Cooking A Dream

Ingredients: plain flour (all- purpose flour) 2cups(250g) salt 3/4 tsp (1/2 tsp if you like less salt or want to eat with other salty food) sugar 1tsp hot water 80ml cold water 70-80ml depending on the type of flour & weather(make a soft & smooth dough) finely chopped green onion oil Method: Mix salt and sugar in the flour add hot water and mix now add cool water knead the dough well divide the dough and rest  for 20-30 mins covered  roll the dough round and thin  brush oil on top and spread finely chopped green onion(spring onion) now lift one side to fold inward then sidewise to make a pinwheel rest again for 20 mins to relax the dough roll it flat, this time a little thick then cook on medium heat with a little bit of oil until golden brown on both side serve hot Note: 1.dough should be relaxed and easy to roll if it is rested enough. Simple easy but delicious breakfast potato omelette recipe. I make it when ever I feel like doing minimum work for breakfast.
