How to make Ovaltine ice cream/without machine/ chocolate ice cream

loved the taste of McDonald's new Ovaltine icecream last week. Here is my successfull attempt to make it.

Whipping cream-400ml(2 cups)
sugar-½ cup
Evaporated milk-100ml(½ cup)
Ovaltine- ¾ cup

  • Put your bowl whisk and cream in the freezer for 15-20mins. 
  • Pour cream sugar and evaporated milk in the bowl and whisk until it reaches soft peak. 
  • Add Ovaltine powder and whisk a few times just until stiff peak forms. 
  • Pour into a container and freeze for 5-6 hours.

  •  cold cream whips up fast. make sure your cream is very very cold.
  •  Over beating turns cream into butter very easily.So stop whisking as soon as it reaches to stiff peak.
  • don't be tempted to beat 30sec more.
  • Stir in between the freezing process 1-2 times. It will help the ice-cream to form soft texture.
